I recently brought my wife's Honda to Gears Auto Service for a full vehicle inspection and had them complete several repairs and maintenance items. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. They kept me updated throughout the entire process, clearly explained what they found, and never left me wondering what was going on. The team was professional, honest, and worked quickly without sacrificing quality. It's refreshing to find a shop that communicates so well and genuinely seems to care about its customers. We couldn't be happier with the service we received. I highly recommend Gears Auto Service to anyone in the Grand Island area looking for trustworthy, knowledgeable, and efficient automotive service.

I was passing through Grand Island and had a brake failure that I didn’t want to try to do myself on the side of the road. I was lead to Gears and they were willing to help me that very afternoon. You never would have known I was a stranger! James, Daniel, and Joe took me in and treated me like I was a regular. They even gave me a ride to a local spot to hang out and get a snack while they patched up my ride. Great service, great job and they made me feel like I was among friends.

Great service! I went for new spark plugs and to check my brakes. They informed me that my brakes were still good. Everyone was very polite and professional. The shop was clean, the service was quick and the price was fair. I would definitely go back!

My left brake kept over heating after putting new calipers, rotors and brake pads on both sides and no one I took it to could figure it out. So a friend at work referred me to these guys and they didn't give up till it was fixed and they put a new brake hose on it at no charge! Thank you Gears Auto! You have my respect and business from now on. You guys are the greatest! They even gave me a ride home and back to the shop when my van was done! Excellent customer service!
